Never made sense in the first place

Created by Elana Binysh, Jenny Davies & Jonathan Leitch.
The work is currently in development.

A chaotic reperformance of Talking Heads’ seminal concert film Stop making sense (with two people on stage who both have ADHD & keep getting distracted). The band is trying to do the show, or at least get through the first song. But they keep falling into tangents & unpredictable sound holes.

Never made sense in the first place turns Neurodivergent thought patterns into experimental sound and vivid scenography, celebrating the sensory experience of starting at point A and getting lost.

Commissioned as part of Parallel Perspectives, a collaboration between the LEVEL Centre & Old Diorama Arts Centre. Made with support from Paraorchestra & Attenborough Arts Centre.
